Kipilas Falls

Kipilas Falls

At Barangay Kipilas,  Kitaotao, Bukidnon Philipines.

Kipilas Falls is good for begginers because the trek is so easy.  In our situation, we meet up 4am at calinan proper and  at 6am bound to buda going to brgy.  Kipilas. We ride our motorcycle, while some of our companion ride a bus from Ecoland Terminal via cagayan  and jump off to buda and take a Skylab which is 50 pesos.

As we reach the community we log our names in their logbook. The Brgy.  Kagawad assist us and appoint local person to be our tour guide. Our guide don't demand if how much will we pay him; So we decided to give 300 pesos. For our food, we bring only for lunch and meryenda because we only stay their for one day

We take the new route to the falls because according to our guide the old one was so difficult to pass. And some visitor experience minor accident.  It takes 15 minutes trek down to falls... We only stayed 2 hours their and decided to go back at the community due to heavy rain. Even for a short moment we enjoy the serenity of the place... it is a secret gem of Brgy.  Kipilas.

Gambudes Falls

Gambodes is one of the 28 barangays in the Municipality of Arakan, North Cotabato. It can be reach through Davao-Bukidnon road, it's one hour ride from the city if your in a private car, a motorcycle or even a public vehicle just like a bus. When you ride a bus, simply go to Ecoland terminal and ride a bus bound to butuan or cagayan route. In our trip we leave our vehicle at their barangay hall; the people also nice and accomodating. When you're in a public vehicle you just stop at Gambudes waiting shed. and hike until you reached at their barangay hall. After you log all your names on the logbook at the barangay office you can now start hiking to falls it's about 30 minutes walk from the barangay hall. Take note, wear long sleeves and long pants along the forest to prevent itchiness from the grass.
